(NRSC News) – While the world is facing World War III, the US military is busy worrying about inclusiveness and other “woke” priorities. It’s almost as if those in charge are purposefully diminishing the strength of the military so that the US is handily defeated by a Russia and China axis.
Since January 2021, Defense Department officials have been hyper-focused on making the military an accepting place for transgender soldiers, expanding mandates significantly. A comprehensive policy analysis titled “Biden Pentagon Quietly Expands Woke Transgender Policies in the Military” compares Joe Biden and Lloyd Austin directives to the 2016 transgender policies of Barack Obama and Ashton Carter.
The Federalist explains:
“As in the Obama years, the Biden/Austin policy fully embraces the idea that individuals can change their “sex assigned at birth to a different gender role.” Department of Defense Instruction 1300.28, updated on Dec. 20, 2022, has changed the official vocabulary of this pseudo-science, using the phrase “self-identified gender” instead of “preferred gender” throughout.
The DOD Instruction stipulates that if a person “self-identifies” as a person of the opposite sex, and if the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) changes a person’s bureaucratic “gender marker,” a man claiming to be a woman must be treated as a woman, and vice versa.
Military commanders, doctors and nurses, chaplains, and military men and women at all levels must endorse and act on this ideological belief or suffer career penalties if they don’t. Alleged “biases against transgender individuals,” which are prohibited, could include anything from “misgendering” people with the wrong pronouns to expressions of concern about medically questionable hormone treatments or surgeries for adults or military-dependent children.”
The military is being transformed into the twilight zone and everyone in it is being forced to play along, denying their own religious beliefs, education, and common sense.
Those who suffer from gender dysphoria should be treated by a mental health care expert rather than collectively “affirmed” by all at gunpoint. The military should recognize this is a mental illness rather than some lifestyle choice and treat it accordingly. The military does not need mentally ill soldiers. This should go without saying. However, the goal of the Biden regime is not national security. It’s “diversity, equity, and inclusion.” It will be the undoing of the US. The military is already struggling to reach enrollment goals year after year. Is it any wonder why?
Not only is the military forcing everyone within the institution to affirm these delusions but all that is required is a self-diagnosis from soldiers. Those who self-diagnose are then thrust into only one treatment option which ends in permanent, irreversible “gender-affirming” surgeries and hormone therapies. Service members are not even required to get an outside, independent opinion.
“Commanders are directed to consult with designated “experts,” called Service Central Coordination Cells. The SCCCs have no responsibility for military operations or any obligation to put the needs of the patient first.”
Biden’s regulations leave no protection for chaplains and people of faith. There is no religious liberty allowed in the US military now. There are no exceptions for doctors, nurses or other medical personnel who object to the transgender ideology.
The Federalist continues:
“Once a military doctor approves, transgender transition can be deemed “complete” with or without surgical alteration of healthy body parts. At that point, as the DOD Instruction states several times: “[S]ervice members will use those berthing, bathroom, and shower facilities associated with their gender marker in DEERS.”
“This policy denies human biological realities and violates minimal expectations of personal privacy and modesty between men and women. Human dilemmas are discussed in PowerPoint training slide “vignettes,” such as a “female to male” soldier announcing a pregnancy.
Vignette 8 portrays a soldier who transitioned from male to female, without “sex-reassignment surgery,” who wants to use female-designated showers. Another scenario describes a female soldier who is experiencing tension with a “transgender female” roommate.”
Instead of training troops to fight an enemy force, commanders are being forced to navigate the slippery slope of the transgender ideology and walking the line between protecting biological female soldiers and not being accused of “transphobia.”
To what end? Certainly not military victory abroad or at home. We will be utterly crushed should the military ever have to actually defend the Homeland.

This is going to destroy the US Military, if it hasn’t already done so.
I would not enlist in the military because of this nonsense…men are men, women are women…there is XX or XY there is no X? and those who believe you can change your sex (dna) or mentally ill and I prefer not to be forced to sleep, shower or depend my life in battle on mentally ill people!
Why is it that NRSC News and other news outlets cannot see that the Obama and now the Biden adminstrations have been slowly working to undermine the strength of our military by placing emphasis on “Wokeness” instead of preparing our troups for combat and strengthening instead of depleting our supply of war material by giving it by the $billions to aid the defense of foreign nations?
Our nation is sadly ill-prepared to aid in the defense of our NATO partners including Taiwan and Germany, who has relied upon the Nordstream pipelines as amajor source of fuel. Why did Biden direct the pipelines be destroyed?? Is Biden following instructions from Soros, or giving payback to China in exchange for family wealth?
Quit beating around the bush and start reporting the facts.
This is fucked up. Biden, Austin and the rest of Biden cabinet must be impeached. They are destroying the United States.
