GOP SENATORS: Biden Handlers Concealing Shocking New Details On Disinfo Board Censorship Agenda

(NRSC News) – Republicans Senators are calling out the Biden regime, specifically Biden’s handlers, for covering up details of the censorship scheme they attempted and failed during the first two years of the Biden’s usurpation.

The regime attempted to further censor Americans with the establishment of the so-called Disinformation Governance Board which, fortunately, never got off the ground.

Now Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Josh Hawley of Missouri are alleging that the Biden regime redacted pertinent details regarding the Board in documents the two senators received.

Grassley and Hawley said in a Thursday letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that the DHS heavily redacted documents the two requested in June relating to the Board and its relationship with social media platforms. We already know the Biden regime has been working with social media companies via the FBI thanks to the “Twitter Files.”

Now it’s up to Republicans to uncover the true extent of the Biden regime’s relationship with Big Tech.

“Based on our review of this material, it appears that many of the redactions are applied to pre-decisional and deliberative process material,” the letter read. “We remind you that the oversight letters we send to the Executive Branch are signed in our capacity as sitting members of Congress, a separate and co-equal branch of government.”

The senators then stated they planned to formally renew their requests to the DHS and asserted it is still “impossible to know the full extent to which various DHS components and offices are engaged in DHS’s ‘burgeoning’ counter-disinformation efforts.”

“Please provide full and complete responses to all questions contained in our June 7, 2022, letter,” they wrote, adding that they would also like “a detailed description of DHS’s policy for responding to congressional oversight requests.”

The letter comes months after the Board was squashed due to major backlash. The official story from the White House, however, was that the project was canned after a recommendation from the Homeland Security Advisory Council.

“With the HSAC recommendations as a guide, the Department will continue to address threat streams that undermine the security of our country consistent with the law while upholding the privacy, civil rights and civil liberties of the American people and promoting transparency in our work,” a press release read.

The truth is, the regime couldn’t continue with their plan to form an official government agency that would be focused on censoring Americans based on whatever it deemed to be “disinformation.” The umbrella of disinformation would have been so large it would have extended to opinions.

The implications of such a government agency on the First Amendment rights of Americans would have been profound. The regime ended up deciding it was best to keep their censorship efforts in the shadows, which was going remarkably well until Elon Musk bought Twitter and blew the lid off the entire operation.

While most Americans knew the Disinformation Governance Board was nothing more than another attempt to squash free speech, in light of the Twitter Files the entire thing has become yet another scandal facing the Biden administration.
